Franz Tank Vice-President, 1955

Prof. Tank is Docteur es Sciences Techniques Honoris Causa of the Ecole Polytechnique de l\´Universite de Lausanne, member of the German Academy of Science and Literature in Mainz, of "Det Kongelige Norske Videnskabers Selskab" in Trondheim, and of a number of other scientific societies in Switzerland and abroad. In 1950 he received the IRE Fellow Award "for his contributions to the field of radio education in Switzerland and his accomplishments in ultra short wave communication."
