  • Abstract
    The performance of a simple, low-cost, centre-fed, efficient planar array aerial for Q band is described. The microstrip radiating pattern is produced by conventional photolithographic techniques. Gains up to 25 dB with beamwidths of 8° and bandwidths of 500 MHz make this `flat¿ aerial attractive for many industrial applications where space is limited.
