Abstract :
Implementation of Winograd´s algorithm in modular arithmetic is proposed for error-free digital convolutions. It is shown that the Chinese remainder theorem can be gainfully employed to perform the convolution with parallel digital machines of shorter wordlength, thereby allowing higher speed with no increase in the total hardware.
