Abstract :
Superconducting ten-turn pickup coils have been fabricated of YBCO using a shadow mask technique. The three-layer vacuum deposition, including sublayer patterning, was carried out in situ, i.e., without breaching the deposition vacuum. The current status for the coil development is J/sub c/=0.2*10/sup 6/ A/cm/sup 2/ at T=80 K for the bottom strip and for the windings, respectively.<>
