Abstract :
The throughput of 1-persistent idle-signal-casting multiple access with collision detection (ICMA/CD) with variable collision detection delay is analysed, taking into consideration the effects of multipath signal fading. The packet failure probability with a limited number of reschedulings is also investigated.<>
