Abstract
A combination of a personal computer and an x-y plotter is utilized for generating high-quality graphical displays of vector fields. The input data file must specify values of the vector field at a number of equidistant points. Starting points of field lines are determined so that the partial fluxes between any two adjacent field lines are made equal to each other. The construction of the field lines proceeds in a two-step method, utilizing the interpolated values of the field data.
