Abstract
A dielectric ring resonator antenna structure which radiates like an electric monopole is reported. The use of high in r resonator material leads to small antenna height. Experiments show that the proposed antenna configuration is potentially useful for constructing small and compact ´electric-monopole´ antennas.<>
