  • Abstract
Frequency-domain TLM (FD-TLM) is a formulation of the symmetrical condensed TLM node (SCN) in the frequency domain and provides sinusoidal steady-state field solutions rather than the transient response. FD-TLM models local variations in electrical properties and grading of the mesh by modifying the propagation constants of the node transmission lines. The FD-TLM dispersion curves are given for plane waves propagating on a regular mesh, a graded mesh and a mesh used to model a homogeneous dielectric medium.<>
