Abstract
Several groups in the US, Canada, and Western Europe have measured the radiation emitted by terminals. Comparison of the measured levels to present occupational exposure standards indicates that the terminals do not present a radiation hazard to VDT operators. Thus routine radiation surveys of VDTs are not warranted.
