Abstract :
The propagation characteristics of magnetostatic surface waves (m.s.s.w.) in a layered system of y.i.g. film, dielectric, y.i.g. film, are theoretically investigated. It is shown that the directional coupling of m.s.s.w. is possible between y.i.g. films. The directional coupling has frequency filtering characteristics due to dispersion of m.s.s.w.
