Abstract
A ghost canceller capable of achieving long delays is described method of filtering in the frequency domain using FFTs (fast Fourier transforms) is implemented by means of a decimation technique. This technique makes use of temporal windowing, frequency subsampling, and automatic selection of the number of filters required. It is thus possible to correct echoes even at high sampling frequencies. A wide variety of structure configurations are possible, depending on the results being sought
