Abstract
An integrated acoustic signal processing system which provides adaptive noise cancellation, acoustic echo cancellation, and adaptive active noise control for hands-free cellular phones is developed. This system provides high-quality, full-duplex voice communication, and reduces the acoustic noise inside an automobile. The integration of this system with the existing automobile audio system reduces the overall system cost. The musical interference suppression (MIS) process is developed to cancel the interference of the music while updating the coefficients of the adaptive filters. The MIS filters also model the electroacoustics paths on-line for both the acoustic echo canceler and the active noise controller
