Title :
D.C. SQUID with high energy resolution

Abstract :
The energy resolution per 1 Hz bandwidth of a SQUID has been improved to 3.9Ã10¿31 Js, which is better than any other value so far reported for SQUIDs. This was achieved by a good magnetic-field coupling, a high sampling rate, utilising the relaxation oscillations of the SQUID and a suitable gap voltage of the Josephson tunnel junctions.
