Abstract
The development of a computational model for a turbulent electromagnetic stirring (EMS) flow system has considerable flexibility in terms of choosing model parameters and system equations. This paper examines the effect of key model parameters on the turbulent flow that is predicted for an industrial scale EMS system. It is shown that the choice of certain parameters can have a profound influence on the predicted flow.
