  • Abstract
    A scheme is developed which allows an optimal control policy to be maintained in cases where the parameters of the controlled system deviate by a small amount from the values expected. This is achieved by augmenting the nominally correct controller design to allow updating of the system control vector on the basis of observed deviations from the ideal state trajectory.
