Abstract
Polycrystalline garnet of the system Y3-2x-y-z Gdz Ca2x+y Fe5-x-y Vx Zry O12 was investigated. Relatively temperature-stable magnetization near room temperature and narrow ferrimagnetic resonance linewidth (
Oe) were obtained for the composition range of
and
respectively. The lowest value of linewidth at z=1.0 was 5.2 Oe at the composition of x=0.4 and y=0.6, which suggests the remarkable reduction of anisotropy.
