  • Abstract
Size optimization of steel-cored permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) using auto-tuning niching genetic algorithm (GA) is executed for realizing rapid and smooth driving on the short reciprocating trajectory. Particularly, the dynamic constraints are newly proposed and applied for considering the running conditions of PMLSM. Furthermore, the optimally designed one is manufactured, and experimented for comparing the results with the calculated ones.
