Characterisation of ternary threshold functions using a partial spectrum

This communication shows that if a ternary threshold function is mapped on the unit circumference and is then expanded in a series using the orthogonal system of Chrestenson functions, a sub-spectrum of 2n+1 elements exists which uniquely characterises the function.
