Abstract
In this paper, we propose a method to estimate time and space discretization errors of a three-dimensional magnetostatic model coupled with electric circuit equations. The estimator is based on the nonverification of the constitutive relationship which requires the calculation of admissible fields. The calculation on the whole time domain is described for the A-formulation. This estimator is tested on a transformer at no load and different schemes for time discretization are studied and compared.
