Abstract
For an accurate comparison of two pulse signals on one channel of a sampling system, an alternating pretrigger shift is used. Simultaneously, a quartz-stable c.w. sine gives a precise time reference. A programmable data-acquisition system performs control and output operations. After averaging, the usable dynamic range is 70 dB with noise and drifts below 0.2 mVeff
