Abstract :
Several aspects of terrain databases (TDBs) used in radio communication system planning tools are considered. It has been found that parameters like grid size, interpolation methods, propagation models, etc. used in this type of application differ from one application to another. Some of these parameters are analyzed in order to evaluate their influence on the overall prediction error
