Reactance-controlled short-backfire array

Experimental data on the performance characteristics of a reactance-controlled waveguide-fed short-backfire array is described. The results indicate that this simple, compact structure, which electronically steers the beam over a limited angular region, may be useful for ship and airborne antennas.
