Abstract :
This paper presents a rigorous analysis of a new fin-line structure which has two slots in the metal coating of the substrate. The dispersion and characteristics impedance are computed for the two independent normal modes of excitation. This structure should find extensive applications in the construction of fin-line components such as directional couplers and filters at millimeter wave frequencies.
