Abstract :
A point-by-point mapping of 2-GHz microwave power transmitted through the human thorax is attempted using a small aperture antenna which consists of a flanged, dielectric-loaded X band waveguide. The microwave projection image of the human thorax with the resolution of 2 can suggests the position of the heart.
