Abstract
The design and material requirements are presented for a permanent magnet biased magnetoresistive (MR) stripe for high resolution MR recording transducers. Preparation details of three alternative biasing films (Fe3 O4 the preferred choice) as well as implementation and-testing of experimental transducers are described.
