Abstract :
Analytic closed-form expressions for impedance and effective dielectric constant for coplanar striplines (c.p.s.) with finite substrate thickness are obtained using conformal mapping techniques. The limit, beyond which the results of an infinite dielectric approximation are no longer valid, is presented.
