Abstract :
Spectral densities of amplitude scintillations on a satellite downlink at 11.8 GHz and 30° elevation are presented. Spectra are flat below about 0.3 Hz and range between 10¿3 and 0.2 dB2 Hz¿1. At high frequencies the spectrum falls like f¿¿ with ¿ found to be 2.16 ± 0.28. Spectral characteristics and their correlation with intensity of the scintillations are discussed.
