Abstract :
Electrical resistivity, thermal expansion, microhardness and fracture strength measurements were made on Ag-CdO composites of a series of compositions including pure Ag and CdO. Measurements of thermal conductivity were derived from electrical resistivity data through the Wiedemann-Franz relationship. Standard methods of quantitative microscopy were used to determine the microstructural character of the composites.
