Abstract :
Prof. Fred Gardiol (Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne), concerning the possibility that Guglielmo Marconi also carried out radio experiments in Salvan (Switzerland), besides the very well known experiments in Pontecchio Marconi (Bologna, Italy). Without any intention to enter into the dispute, I reproduce here a letter hand-written by Marconi himself, on the official paper of the Senate of the Kingdom of Italy (Figure 1), of which I offer here a translation:
