Abstract :
For the determination of the extent of asymptotic stability by Liapunov´s direct method, La Salle´s theorem is extensively applied. This article presents required extensions to La Salle´s result to determine regions of attraction for output variables of dynamic systems, even if the attracting set in the state space is unbounded.
