  • Abstract
    A closed-form expression is derived to represent the electric field distribution along the axis of rod plane gaps in the ranges 0.1-1 cm for the electrode radius and 2-12 cm for the gap spacing. The expression is valuable in modeling discharge development in SF6 gaps
