Parametric bandpass filters for simulation with generalized immittance converters

Methods proposed for the simulation of LC ladder band-pass filters with generalized immittance converters (GIC´s) are reviewed, and the advantages of a recently proposed approach are emphasized. An alternative to an inexact approximation used to reduce element value spread is found in the design methods for parametric bandpass filters, and pertinent references are given.
