  • Abstract
    This paper discusses the results of a study of the electric strength of cold helium in a uniform field, when acted upon by direct, alternating, and impulse voltages. The influence of impulse slope on helium electric strength in a sharply non-uniform field is estimated, and a qualitative depiction of the discharge development is given.
