Abstract :
New voltage-mode and current-mode filters implemented from a single commercially available transimpedance operational amplifier are described. The circuits, which exhibit simultaneously two transfer functions (bandpass and lowpass/highpass), are insensitive to active and passive component variations. The author also demonstrates that transimpedance amplifiers including a compensation pin are much more versatile than other topologies. Experimental results obtained using the AD844 from Analog Devices, which confirm the theoretical analysis, are given and discussed
