Abstract :
Multi-h phase-coded modulation (MHPM) with asymmetric modulation indices has recently been proposed and found to be a bandwidth-efficient modulation scheme with attractive improvements in error probability performance. The authors analyse in detail the bandwidth-power performance of such new schemes using the minimum Euclidean distances and the average modulation index for three phase pulse functions.
