  • Abstract
    The dispersion relation and the normal modes for magnetoelastic waves in ferromagnetic insulator crystals are calculated when the interaction between magnetization and strains is approximated to a bilinear form of creation and annihilation boson operators. Numerical results are obtained for YIG.
