Abstract :
The classical two machine system conversion to an equivalent system of one finite machine and an infinite bus has been used widely in calculation of swing curves and critical clearing angles. This letter describes direct calculation of equivalent-system swing curves extended to the general (m - 1)-machine system and one infinite bus.
