Abstract
The domain structure in Sm-YIG garnets coated by permalloy layers of different thicknesses is described. The 360° walls in the form of spirals and concentric circles in 100-200 Å coated specimens have been observed. The ressemblances between the external domain structure associated with bubbles in garnets with implanted layers and garnets with 300-450 Å permalloy layers have been noticed. The different walls connected with the discs were observed. None of specimen displayed bubble displacement around the removed permalloy discs.
