Abstract :
Using the method of moments, analysis is implemented for a completely shielded microslot on a ferrite substrate, i.e. a slotline with a parallel ground plane. Accuracy in the propagation constant as a function of slot line geometry, ferrite parameters and magnetising field of within 1% is obtained using matrices as small as five-by-five.
