Abstract
The author calls attention to certain serious defects in most existing radio ship equipment. He considers that the best possible radio equipment would be obtained by the steamship companies thru collective purchasing on a large scale of well-built apparatus constructed to meet standard specifications. He then supplies a complete set of proposed specifications for the construction of transmitter, auxiliary storage battery, receiver, antenna, and auxiliary parts.
