Abstract :
We have measured the temperature dependence of the magnetomechanical coupling factor, k, in Tb.26Dy.74Fe2and found a temperature independent region from 20 C to 60 C. In addition we have studied the TbxDyyHozFe2alloy system. We find a 10% increase in k33and a 70% increase in the relative permeability when compared with the TbxDyyFe2alloy system.
