Abstract
Audio heads made of Fe-Si-Al alloy head cores by a squeeze casting were newly developed. The heads had merits of a low noise and a small distortion. A head wear of the squeeze cast alloy heads was reduced to 1/5 of that of conventional Fe-Si-Al alloy heads and was noted to be comparable to that of ferrite heads. Squeeze cast alloys (SCA) had magnetic properties of :
