Abstract :
A flaw is pointed out in the proof of a necessary and sufficient condition for robust stability of a polytope of matrices given by J.H. Kim and Z. Bien (ibid., vol.387, no.9, pp.1470-1472, Sep. 1992), in their comments on a paper by the present authors (ibid., vol.35, no.11, pp.1257-1259, Nov. 1190). Hence, the necessary condition as proposed may not be correct.<>
