Abstract :
The size and structure of the moving head rigid disk drive and flexible disk drive industries are analyzed, with historical data and projections covering the span from 1976 to 1980. Products are analyzed in 12 categories, with discussion of underlying factors contributing to the growth or decline of individual product groups.
