Abstract :
A simple model for the FM spectrum of color TV signals is presented; based on the assumption that the luminance and chrominance components are uncorrelated Gaussian processes. Unlike existing models of the video FM spectrum, the present model accounts for the important spectral components at the color subcarrier frequency and its harmonics.
