Abstract
For an inhomogeneous block model of man, procedures have been developed to obtain optimum arrangements of dipoles for minimum deviation from prescribed regional rates of energy deposition (SAR). Two cases, one for relatively uniform SAR and the second for 3:1 enhanced SAR in the abdomen, both with minimum SAR for the head and neck, are presented.
