Abstract :
The wideband return from a circular waveguide cavity is investigated in the joint time-frequency space using the reassigned joint time-frequency (RJTF) transform. Equations for generating the reassigned joint time-frequency distribution from a frequency domain signal are presented. The performance of the reassigned transform is compared with that of the short-time Fourier transform (STFT) based on data obtained from both simulation and measurement.
