Abstract :
The EL output from TFEL display panels is increased by pulsed visible irradiation synchronous with the drive pulses. The interaction of the visible light with either bulk traps in the phosphor layer or the surface states at the phosphor-insulator interfaces must be considered, in order to explain this photoinduced EL gain
