Abstract :
Two new canonic realizations of IIR digital filters age presented. The realizations are derived employing modified continued fraction expansion procedures. Proposed methods also provide alternate derivations to the digital lattice and ladder structures based on two-pair extractions and orthogonal polynomial expansions.
