Abstract
Cyril Northcote Parkinson, 1909-1993, coined the phrase `Parkinson´s Law´ in an article published by the Economist in 1958: work expands to fill the time available for its completion. Parkinson collected his aphorisms and published them in a book. This article argues, as recent events show, that work expands so as to fill the computers available and then overflows. But it needn´t!
